I’d like a small software on Linux, with a modern GUI that allows me to save certain important blog articles.

Wallabag is not interesting for me because it’s too heavy (Docker)

I always wondered why do people use Pocket. I just use bookmarks - for example: on the bookmarks toolbar in my browser, I have a folder named “movies to watch”. I just drag the tabs into that folder. Isn’t that similar to Pocket?

My brain being fried from the brainrot and not being able to comprehend “save to read later” probably also plays a part.

Premium Pocket actually cached a copy of the page.

      It also had human-curated recommendations.

Pocket was pretty useless, but I want a service to share links with my friends. Maybe a federated one, but without votes. Like I just want to bookmark something and show it to my friends and see what they are looking at

It had Kobo integration. I’m sure there’s alternatives, but it was nice to bookmark long form things on the computer to read on a flight later for example.
