Assuming my suspicion from the other thread is correct (that you’re running this in your house), you need to set up port forwarding between your router and the computer running Yunohost. Specifically ports 80 and 443.
They’ve apparently been involved in Fedora since at least 2007 and the list of packages they maintain includes QT, so sure this isn’t some rando. Still, I doubt the backing of a low level contributor to the project will mean this proposal goes anywhere, especially the idea of replacing X11 outright when downstream packages like KDE (ironic) have indicated they won’t support it.
Do note, literally anyone can submit a change proposal to Fedora. This shouldn’t affect your view of the project.

Is it really self-hosting if someone else controls the data and software?
Though this content could flourish in pockets of the fediverse, the scary scenario of prevalent child sexual abuse material is not the case. There are many moderation tools, including shared blocklists, that prevent it. However, the idea that the fediverse is full of harmful content was used by Elon Musk to justify his anti-competitive decision to block links from X to Mastodon.

If a post contains content that is not allowed, the post should be deleted, that’s it.
OK, but what about content that is allowed, but has certain restrictions, like needs to be tagged NSFW. The current workflow to get this changed is: A mod comments under a pot telling the creator to tag it NSFW -> Remove the post -> wait for the creator to edit the post -> restore the post. This seems needlessly complicated and labour intensive, no?

By the looks of it, Dansup is doing attributedTo similar to how PeerTube does it, but doesn’t wrap it in an array which is annoying. Hopefully he changes that.

Looks like I was wrong, PeerTube does set an attributeTo, it’s just different to how Lemmy does it. Lemmy expects an OrderedCollection, while PeerTube sends an Array of IDs. Don’t know how I missed the attributeTo in the PeerTube output I was looking at (I was pretty tired when I wrote the tbf). This is probably something to fix in Lemmy.

Had a look at the logs and trying to resolve a video fails with OnlyModsCanPostInCommunity. This is because PeerTube sets lemmy:postingRestrictedToMods to be true on the Group, but doesn’t set an attributeTo for the Group object so Lemmy sees the community as having no moderators. It seems that the only reason this used to work was because the posting_restricted_to_mods setting was ignored when resolving an object from ActivityPub.

.ml is running the beta branch that actually started to apply image size limits to thumbnails, your app is probably using the thumbnail URL instead of the main URL and thus getting the compressed image.
